    The Vernon Wellness Fair takes place March 4-5 at the Vernon Recreation Centre from 10am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday. Admission is free.

    The Vernon Wellness Fair showcases over 70 products and services for the mind, body and soul. There are vendors showcasing things such as essential oils, acupuncture, natural cleaning products, spiritual guidance, weight loss training, organic products and everything in between.

    KELOWNA - It’s happening downtown and continued investment in infrastructure projects will soon be underway to increase safety and vibrancy the City’s downtown core.

    Transportation and utility improvements, including a new roundabout, are planned around Doyle, Water and Cawston Street with construction anticipated to start this spring.
  • Shop, Learn and Play at the Tot to Teen Expo

    KELOWNA - The Tot to Teen Expo takes place February 11-12 (Family Day Weekend) from 10am-3pm at Parkinson Rec Centre.  The event showcases over 50 products and services for families with kids of all ages.

    Admission is free, and guests receive a Welcome Bag and chance to win prizes.  There will also be activities happening to keep the kids entertained and food on site for those wishing to make a day out of the event.
  • CrossFit-style competition will take place at the South Okanagan Events Centre

    Penticton, BC (January 17, 2017): The fourth annual Okanagan Valley Throwdown returns to Penticton, January 28 and 29. The CrossFit-style event, co-presented by Hoodoo Adventures and Evolution Athletics, and fuelled by Muscle MLK Canada, features more than 350 athletes competing in a variety of CrossFit activities over the course of the weekend.

    KAMLOOPS, B.C.—Local author and teacher-librarian Dennis Staginnus of Kamloops, launched the sequel to his middle grade / young adult fantasy “The Raiders of Folklore” series on January 10, 2017 at the Kamloops School of the Arts Library. Local students and parents joined their school librarian to launch the sequel to his Raiders of Folklore Series.
