KELOWNA - The Tot to Teen Expo takes place February 11-12 (Family Day Weekend) from 10am-3pm at Parkinson Rec Centre.  The event showcases over 50 products and services for families with kids of all ages.

Admission is free, and guests receive a Welcome Bag and chance to win prizes.  There will also be activities happening to keep the kids entertained and food on site for those wishing to make a day out of the event.

“We are putting an emphasis on healthy families this year,” says Shara Mendoza, event organizer.  “There will be great exhibits geared towards keeping your kids active and healthy as well as our usual variety of local businesses.”

Event organizers are excited to announce that there will be free professional family photos available at the event by Selina Morrison Photography.  Kids can also check out the chick holding booth by Quality Farms, where they can learn about chickens and even witness a live chick hatching.  There will also be free cookie decorating by Nannysitters and a bowling lane set up by Capri Valley Lanes.

The Kelowna Regional Library will be doing a Storytime both mornings at 11am.  They will also be on site with information on the great resources and programs available at the library.

“Our event is great for families looking to come and book some spring activities, have a fun day out, and pick up some unique gifts and items,” says Alma Gurgol, organizer.  “It’s also a great time to save money; businesses will be offering great deals over the weekend, such as Safari Ridge who will be offering a 12 player for the price of 4 discount!”

For a complete list of the exhibits, families are encouraged to check out the website:  Businesses can also sign up online if they wish to be involved in this great show.  Show organizers encourage everyone to share their Facebook Event page to be entered to win a $100 gift basket:
