KELOWNA - It’s happening downtown and continued investment in infrastructure projects will soon be underway to increase safety and vibrancy the City’s downtown core.

Transportation and utility improvements, including a new roundabout, are planned around Doyle, Water and Cawston Street with construction anticipated to start this spring.

Residents and businesses are invited to review project details at an upcoming public information session:
Tuesday, February 14
3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Kelowna Community Theatre (1375 Water Street)

“City staff will be at the information session to answer questions about the improvements and the anticipated roadwork,” said Steven Robertson, Design Technician. “The work being done is geared toward enhancing safety and efficiency for people walking, cycling and driving through the area.”

The improvements will include a roundabout at the intersection of Doyle and Water streets, a watermain replacement on Doyle Avenue between Water and Ellis streets and intersection improvements at Cawston and Water streets.
