No foul play suspected after body found in Penticton

No foul play is suspected in the death of a man in Penticton this morning.

At 8:30 a.m. today, Aug. 18, RCMP officers responded to a report of an unconscious man near Industrial Avenue and Main Street, according to an RCMP media release.

The man – a 30-year-old Langley resident – was pronounced dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected. 

The death is being investigated by the BC Coroners Service.

Out of respect for privacy of the deceased his name will not be released nor will his identity be confirmed, RCMP said.

Anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or has any other information, is asked to call Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
