Are you finding it hard to reconnect after pandemic shut-downs? Is social media overload and working-from-home giving you cabin fever?

Kelowna has a jewel of a place to meet friends, new and old, for casual authentic fun. The Kelowna Curling Club is a place to hang out, enjoy friendly competition, and great food. Every night, there’s something going on. From league curling games to novice instruction, our ice sheets are full of fun. Think of that comfortable, summer baseball league feeling — continuing through the fall in an all-weather facility. Now’s a great time to try curling.

Support a Non-Profit & Enjoy a Beverage With A Friend

Curling is only the beginning at the Club. A community non-profit for 80+ years, at the Kelowna Curling Club everyone is welcome. You don’t need a membership or an invitation to drop in and take part in what’s going on.

Jock Tyre, the Kelowna Curling Club’s General Manager, has been a big part of the Club’s success for over 30 years. “We’re very proud of our role in this community. The Club has always been a great place to try curling and enjoy our restaurant and bar. We would love to see people drop in for non-curling fun with friends, too. We offer free pool tables, darts, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard…there’s something for everyone.”

Learn the Ropes & Make New Friends

Whether you bring a friend or sign up alone, there is a novice curling league of friendly folks waiting to show you how to throw rocks, sweep, and feel at home in your team’s house. After a short time on the ice, relax and unwind over a drink and some snacks.

“On weekend afternoons, we offer burger and taco events," Tyre says. "It’s a central place to gather a group – we’ll handle your curling game reservation, dinner, and equipment rental as one package. It’s great for families too.”

Try your next corporate event at the Curling Club – their event packages are plug-and-play from the time you arrive.
