Winter storm warnings continue for Okanagan and Interior highways

Snowfall warnings are continuing throughout the Interior Saturday morning.

Environment Canada is warning of hazardous winter conditions on the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Kamloops. The highway could see to 40 centimetres of snow today, Dec. 18 until late tonight. Warnings are also in effect for the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass, the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to Kamloops and along Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton.

Travel will be difficult due to rapidly accumulating snow and visibility may suddenly become reduced at times, according to Environment Canada.
