Authorities: US man accused of planning to detonate car bomb at Kansas airport arrested.

WICHITA, Kan. - Authorities say a man accused of planning to detonate a car bomb at a Kansas airport has been arrested.

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said the man was arrested Friday morning at Mid-Continent regional airport in Wichita. He said the man planned to drive a car that he believed was full of explosives into a terminal at the airport.

Investigators say the man is an avionics technician who lives in Wichita and works at the airport.
