After landing numerous supporting roles as Nick Fury in the Marvel Studios franchise, Samuel L. Jackson will be the star of the upcoming series Secret Invasion.

The trailer shows a bearded Jackson ready to take on the forces of evil, and apparently without any of his superhero friends.

Secret Invasion is a six-episode mini series that premieres on Disney+ on June 21. It will be the MCU’s first series of its fifth phase.
