A smoky skies bulletin has been issued throughout the Southern Interior.
That includes Kamloops and the Okanagan, which are looking hazy because of active wildfires in B.C., Washington State and Oregon, according to the province’s latest air quality advisory.
Environment Canada says smoke may clear in some areas this afternoon as an upper level low moves through the southern interior however conditions are expected to persist in most areas through the overnight period.
Smoke may clear as early as this afternoon however the areas highlighted on the map below are likely to remain impacted for 24 to 48 hours.
