A trio of masked thieves stole $60,000 worth of lawnmowers in Salmon Arm earlier this week.
Police responded to the theft at a business in the 3100 block of 10 Avenue SW at around 8:30 a.m., Oct. 12, according to an RCMP media release. RCMP didn't identify the business.
In the middle of the night, three suspects whose faces were covered entered the compound by cutting through the fence. They proceeded to steal five Cub Cadet lawn mowers, and were seen loading the mowers on a trailer towed by a truck, RCMP said.

Salmon Arm RCMP are asking the public for help finding these distinctive yellow mowers. Anybody with information is asked to contact the Salmon Arm RCMP detachment at 250 832-6044 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
