Salmon Arm police looking for witnesses after gunshot incident

A Salmon Arm man reportedly found a bullet hole in his home, after he thought he heard a gunshot early this morning.

Police have canvassed the area where the incident allegedly occurred at around 1 a.m. today, Sept. 29, in the 3300 block of 10 Ave NE, according to an RCMP media release.

Investigators are asking the public for information on a dark car that was reportedly seen at the time of the incident in order to speak to the driver or occupants, and presently there is no better description of the vehicle, RCMP said.

If you witnessed this event or saw that vehicle of interest in the 3300 Block of 10 Ave. NE call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044 or Crime Stoppers to leave an anonymous tip at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
