A man was shot in Kamloops early this morning and police say it seems like a targeted attack.
Several Kamloops RCMP officers and Police Dog Services responded to a call about a shooting in the 900-block of 13 Street around 2:05 a.m. today, Jan. 24, according to a press release from police.
The man who had been shot was found and taken to hospital with serious injuries. The extent of the man’s injuries are unknown at this time.
Police believe several people were involved in the shooting. Several units are investigating the shooting including the Serious Crime Unit and the Kamloops RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
“While we are continuing our investigation, based on evidence gathered as of this time, this incident does not appear to be random,” Cpl.
