Osoyoos RCMP catch thief in connection to RV break-ins

OSOYOOS - Osoyoos RCMP have a man in custody following a rash of RV break-ins earlier this year.

RCMP Sgt. Jason Bayda says in a press release police responded to a series of recreational trailer and motorhome break and enters in March and early April along Lakeshore Drive in Osoyoos.

A suspect was arrested on April 7 after he was found, unauthorized, in a recreational trailer on Lakeshore Drive.

Scott Andrew Paquette, 51, appeared in court on April 23 where he was convicted of break and enter, and sentenced to 120 days in jail, followed by 18 months’ probation, Bayda says.
