A Porsche was impounded Saturday afternoon after Kamloops RCMP caught its driver going more than double the speed limit.
Police spotted the car while patrolling the Summit Drive around 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, where the Porsche was speeding uphill, according to an RCMP news release.
The officer's radar caught the car at 130 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
Police gave the driver a ticket for excessive speeding and impounded his car for seven days.
