Kamloops RCMP are searching for a pair of suspects after a business was robbed in the downtown core this morning.
At about 11:12 a.m. today, March 3, police responded to a panic alarm at a business on the 700 block of Victoria Street, after a robbery involving a knife.
Two men stole cash and a cordless phone from the store, as well as an employee’s wallet and cellphone, according to an RCMP news release.
RCMP did not identify the business.
Police say a canine unit was deployed and officers found a number of items as part of the investigation.
RCMP describe the suspects as Caucasian men, both 6' tall and dressed in baggy clothing. One of the suspects wore a dark green jacket, while the other had a black sweater, flat brim hat and carried a bag with a box inside.
Anyone with information, or surveillance video of the robbery, is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference RCMP file 2021-6599.
