Police and Kamloops Search and Rescue are asking for the public’s help to find a skier missing for two days.
Tomasz Jaholkowski, 68, was last seen at Sun Peaks Ski Resort checking into a run at 11:35 a.m. on Dec. 10, according to a press release from police.
He was last seen wearing a red and black ski jacket, dark ski pants, and a dark helmet.
“Mr. Jaholkowski does not appear to have returned to his hotel room, nor has he been heard from since checking into the run on Tuesday,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release. “We are very concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen him or has information on his potential whereabouts, to please contact police as soon as possible.”
He is described as Caucasian, 5’10”, grey hair, brown eyes, and roughly 180lb.
Police, search and rescue, and Sun Peaks Ski Patrol are continuing to search for him, including helicopter and drone searches.
