KELOWNA – RCMP have made some progress in the investigation of a robbery at a downtown Kelowna massage parlour and escort agency last week.

While no suspects have been arrested, police say a suspect vehicle involved in the armed robbery has been found.

Two armed masked men held up the Garden of Eden on Lawrence Avenue on June 18, firing a shot inside the business. No one was hurt and the suspects got away with some cash.

Kelowna RCMP media spokesperson Cpl. Tania Carroll says after having a look at video surveillance footage from nearby businesses, police spotted the suspect vehicle, which was located the next day.

“Investigators are asking the pubic for any information regarding the vehicle’s occupants and its movement prior to the armed robbery,” Carroll says.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Or remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
