UPDATE: Missing Vernon woman found safe

VERNON - A woman who went missing yesterday has been located.

The Vernon RCMP said Tuesday, Feb. 28, in a news release the woman was found safe and sound. 

She originally went missing on Feb. 27, prompting a missing persons report. 

— This story was updated at 9:23 a.m. Feb. 28, 2017 to say the woman was found and to remove all personal information from the story.
