Phone lines are down at the City of Penticton

All the phone lines to the City of Penticton aren't working today.

The City is blaming the service provider for the failure today, Dec. 22, which means it can't accept phone calls, including the emergency line, according to a City of Penticton media release.

The City said email can still be used for communication.

"City staff is working with the service provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," the City said in the release.
