KELOWNA – A thief stole a jacket from L&D Meats in Kelowna and ended up taking much more than outerwear from the victim.
The stolen jacket held keys to the store, a parkade, the owner's vehicle and home. The owner suffered a substantial loss and had to re-key everything connected to the stolen keys, according to a Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers media release.
On March 15 at 4:30 p.m., an employee of the store saw someone reach into the store's back door and take the jacket.
The suspect was captured on surveillance footage and is described as a Caucasian man, wearing white pants, a dark jacket, a black headband carrying a green and grey backpack.
