Oliver police looking for woman who assaulted store clerk

Anyone who can identify this woman is asked to call Oliver RCMP.

A woman caught shoplifting dropped her merchandise then assaulted the store clerk who confronted her before fleeing. 

The incident happened on March 17, at a business in the 5000 block of Main Street, according to an RCMP media release issued today, March 28.

The suspect was captured on video camera and is described as Indigenous, 25 to 35 years old with long dark hair. She was wearing a black hoodie with yellow lettering, black leggings and black/orange shoes.

Anyone with information on the woman’s identity is asked to call the Oliver RCMP at 250-498-3422.
