PENTICTON - There will be a new option in Penticton for RV enthusiasts planning to stay in the Peach City opening in time for the May long weekend.
Holiday Hills RV Resort operator Dan Selles says he is targeting the May 20 long weekend for the opening day of phase one of his new resort, located on the site of the former Okanagan Amusements, south of the airport lights on Highway 97.
Selles says he expects to have 50 of the 90 sites ready.
“The remaining sites will not have services until phase two is complete, but those sites will be available for daily or weekly rentals up to that point,” Selles says.
Each site will have 50 amp power, cable, water and sewer hook up. Future plans on the site call for full bathroom facilities, including showers, a laundry room, fitness room, clubhouse, courtyard and pickleball courts.
