It looks like Saturday will be the best choice for an outdoor Easter egg hunting this long weekend in the Okanagan and Kamloops.
After a cool start to spring, higher than average temperatures are coming for Easter but there won’t be much sunshine and there could be showers.
The best day is expected to be Saturday when there should be a mix of sun and clouds in Kamloops and the Okanagan, according to Environment Canada’s online forecast.
Kamloops is looking at daily high temperatures reaching 15 Celsius on Friday and Saturday, and 16 C on Sunday before dropping to 11 C by Monday.
While there's expected to be a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday it will be bracketed by a 40% chance of showers Friday and clouds on Sunday. Periods of rain are forecast for Monday with a high temperature of 11 C.

Saturday will also be the nicest day in the Okanagan with a high of 15 C and a mix of sun and cloud.
A few showers are forecast for Friday in the Okanagan with clouds on Sunday before the temperature is expected to drop to a high of 11 C with rain on Monday.
The good news for gardeners is overnight lows, which have been well below 0 C most nights, are forecast to be above freezing throughout the weekend.
