FILE PHOTO

RCMP are looking for witnesses to come forward after a man exposed himself to a teenaged female and her younger brother earlier this week.

The teen and her brother were riding their bicycles on Bank Avenue near Main Street in Oliver at around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, August. 27, when a man got out of a pickup truck and pulled down his pants in front of them exposing himself.

The young people rode their bikes home and reported the incident to their parents.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged man with a partial or short beard. He was wearing shorts and a T-shirt. The make of his truck is not known.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and they’re looking for witnesses or video surveillance footage.

Anyone who can help with the investigation is asked to call Oliver RCMP at 250-498-3422.
