KAMLOOPS - Matti might be an "older lady" but she is a sweet girl looking for a home.

Matti arrived at the Kamloops & District B.C. SPCA after she was found wandering by Kunuff Lake.

She wasn't in the best of shape when she was found. The SPCA believes she was other there for a while because her coat was overgrown and dirty. Additionally, she had a large tumour hanging from her chest.

Since arriving at the shelter, she has had a makeover and her tumour removed.

Currently, Matti is in a foster home and is recovering from her surgery, which is going well.

In her foster home, Matti is getting along well with the other dog in the home. She is also enjoying the company of the older children because they are spoiling her.

The Kamloops shelter says Matti is available for adopting from her foster home.

If you are interested in meeting Matti please contact us by phone at 250-376-7722, or email at kamloops@spca.bc.ca. You can visit the website for more information about Matti, animal ID 444387, or the shelter.
