Long weekend weather looks good for Kamloops

Possible showers for Friday won't be sticking around for the weekend, with Kamloops forecast calling for sunshine and seasonable temperatures.

KAMLOOPS - There’s a chance of rain as the long weekend approaches in Kamloops, but sunny and seasonal weather will return in time for Saturday.

Environment Canada says in Kamloops today, expect a mix of sun and cloud with winds southwest at 20 km/h this afternoon, along with a high of 33 C and a low of 19 C.

For tomorrow, Friday, a small disturbance will bring a 60 per cent chance of showers, with west winds at 20 km/h, gusting to 40 in the morning.

Friday’s high should reach 23 C, with an overnight low of 15 C.

Saturday the sun returns with a high of 29 C and a low of 14 C.

Sunday is expected to be much the same, with sunny skies and a high of 30 C and a low of 15.

More sun is expected on holiday Monday, with a high of 32 C and a low of 16 C.

Tuesday’s forecast is expected to be similar, with a high of 33 C and a low of 17 C expected.
