KELOWNA - If you were by Orchard Park Shopping Centre this weekend, you may have noticed the gaping hole in the building that once was Sears.
Around 38,000 square feet of the 1970s era building is getting knocked down as part of a renovation to the north wing.
It's going to reduce the overall size of the mall to 827,765 square feet, create a new entrance and a couple more retail spaces — one of which is believed to be for a Mark's.
Bucking a trend of creating less parking, the mall will also offer 263 new parking stalls.
