Kamloops RCMP are hoping the public can help identify an ice cream robbery suspect.

Just after midnight, Sunday, Feb. 28, police received a report of a man who stole ice cream bars from a business on the 900 block of 8 Avenue, an RCMP news release said.

When confronted about the offence, the suspect allegedly pulled up his shirt to reveal a large kitchen knife in his waistband.

Police say they were unable to locate the suspect.
