KAMLOOPS - Police are looking for a suspect who used a knife to rob a Kamloops convenience store yesterday.
Kamloops RCMP say a man brandishing a knife entered the 7-Eleven on Summit Drive at 2 a.m. yesterday, March 4.
The suspect forced the clerk to open the cash register, at which point he stole the money and fled westbound, according to an RCMP media release. The clerk was unharmed.
RCMP say the same 7-Eleven was robbed on Jan. 8, although there is no evidence at the moment connecting the two crimes.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male who wore a brown jacket, red shirt, blue jeans, running shoes, black gloves, and a black and white bandana.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
