Kamloops nurse suspended for unexplained reasons

A Kamloops nurse has been suspended for two weeks for a number of vague allegations by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

Licensed Practical Nurse Alison Conder’s nursing registration was suspended for two weeks because of “practice issues” recorded in 2021 and 2022.

The nursing regulator would only say it was “related to medication administration, professional responsibility and accountability, ethical practice and breach of the terms of voluntary undertakings.”

It offered no explanation at all of what Conder was accused of. In addition to the suspension, she will have number of other conditions on her licence and must take remedial education.

"The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public."
