A Kamloops nurse has been suspended for a month for sexually harassing a student nurse.
According to March 1 B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives decision, registered nurse Matthew Danchak sexually harassed a student nurse he was supervising.
The nursing regulator also says Danchak accessed a colleague's computer contrary to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Both incidents happened on March 23, 2022.

Danchak signed a consent agreement admitting the conduct.
Along with a one-month suspension, the registered nurse is barred from supervising nursing students or orienting new staff members for six months.
He will also have to complete a course titled, Sensitivity Training: Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

No other information is given in the decision.
The nursing regulator says its satisfied the terms will protect the public.
