After a heroic dog rescue of little Bean, the same KFR team responded to the call to pick up Bruno — a 170 lb dog with a broken paw.

Kamloops Fire Rescue posted on social media that their unofficial 'Dog Rescue' team arrived to take Bruno to see care when he broke his paw.

Four men picked up Bruno and packed him into a vehicle so he could be transported to an animal hospital.

"When your dog is as big as Bruno, it's not quite as simple as just scooping him up in a dog carrier," the KFR social media post said.

The firefighters previously arrived at a Kamloops home to rescue Bean, who found himself trapped under a recliner couch.
