KAMLOOPS - Police have arrested a 16-year-old Kamloops suspect after the 7-Eleven on Summit Drive in Kamloops was robbed for the third time in three months.
Police were called to the 7-Eleven on Summit Drive at 6:30 p.m. yesterday, March 7, shortly after a man armed with a knife entered the store demanding money from the cash register, according to an RCMP media release. He left the convenience without injuring anyone.
RCMP arrested a 16-year-old Kamloops man at a nearby residence without incident.
The Summit Drive 7-Eleven has seen three robberies over the last three months, including a hold-up earlier this week. At the moment, police say they do no believe this case is connected to the other two incidents.
