Riche's two-point night lifts Saskatoon Blades to 5-1 win over Seattle Thunderbirds

SASKATOON - Ben Riche scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Saskatoon Blades to a 5-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in Western Hockey League play on Wednesday night.

David Lewandowski, Zach Olsen, Tanner Molendyk and Tyler Parr also tallied for Saskatoon.

SILVERTIPS 6 WILD 1

EVERETT - Carter Bear scored twice as the Silvertips defeated the Wild.

Caine Wilke also had a pair while Tyler MacKenzie and Jesse Heslop chipped in with singles for Everett.

TIGERS 4 HITMEN 2

MEDICINE HAT - Gavin McKenna had two goals as the Tigers doubled the Hitmen.

Bryce Pickford and Hunter St. Martin had the other goals for Medicine Hat.

ROYALS 4 ROCKETS 3

KELOWNA - Braydon Boehm scored the shootout winner to give the Royals a 4-3 win over the Rockets.

He also assisted on Cole Reschny's game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation.
