He remains an innocent man.
But that doesn't mean there aren't consequences — and costs to taxpayers as Miller stubbornly collects a paycheque for a job he's on paid leave for. Just in case you have forgotten, or haven’t been keeping score, we tallied up a few numbers.
Here are the figures:

-
28,524: Dollars was Miller’s salary for 2024.
-
35: Years ago is when the alleged sex crimes took place.
-
11: Sex crime accusations have been levied at Miller. He hasn't been convicted of any of them.
-

-
1,194: Signatures on the online petition asking Miller to resign.
-
144: Days until Miller’s next scheduled court date.
-
2: How many byelections the City of Penticton will already have this year, both opportunities Penticton could have added Miller's position and save taxpayers the cost of a third byelection.
-
2: Jobs he still has while on trial, city councillor and newspaper editor.
-
1: Case prior Miller faced similar accusations and the case was dismissed.
-
