Flooding closes Highway 5A between Kamloops and Merritt

Drive BC says flooding has closed Highway 5A between Merritt and Kamloops today, May 4, 2020.

Flooding has closed Highway 5A from Kamloops to Merritt this afternoon.

The road is closed in both directions today, May 4, due to flooding between the junction at Highway 97C and Hillside Way, according Drive B.C.

The Coquihalla Highway is suggested as an alternate route.

An assessment is in progress.
