Finning earns $81.3-million second-quarter profit, ups revenue guidance

VANCOUVER - Finning International Inc. (TSX:FTT) said Wednesday it earned $81.3 million or 47 cents per share on $1.76 billion in revenue in the quarter ended June 30, down from a profit of $81.9 million or 48 cents per share on $1.48 billion in revenue. The heavy equipment dealer also raised its revenue guidance for the year to growth between 12 and 15 per cent compared with earlier expectations for growth of eight to 10 per cent.
