VERNON - Multiple emergency services responded to a vehicle crash near Vernon today.

On Dec. 19, emergency crews arrived at the scene of a vehicle rollover on Highway 97 North, according to a City of Vernon media release. A truck had veered off the roadway and rolled down the bank, trapping the single driver inside.

Emergency teams extracted the driver from the vehicle and transported them to a nearby hospital, the City says.

The City does not say how badly the unidentified person was injured, what kind of truck was involved or what time the crash occurred.
