KAMLOOPS -  Kamloops RCMP have arrested a man wanted in connection with a large collection of firearms and explosives.

Cameron Cole, of St. Albert, Alberta; formerly of Kamloops, surrendered himself to the Kamloops RCMP on the evening of Dec. 7, a media release says.

The 35-year-old man had been charged with possessing prohibited firearms and improvised explosive devices with the intent to endanger life.

Cole remains in custody pending an appearance before the Courts.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their calls and information that assisted in the resolution of this matter.
