    Kelowna – December 1st and Dec 1st-7th 2017 have been officially proclaimed “World AIDS Day” and “Aboriginal AIDS Awareness Week” by Mayor Colin Basran. Representatives of Living Positive Resource Centre, REL8 Okanagan and Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society met with the Mayor to receive the proclamation.

The Trans Mountain Expansion Project (TMEP) is gifting the university $500,000 to go toward bursaries for students in trades, social work, human service, research and environmental science.
