Puddle jumping in the Okanagan forecast for this week

Coastal visitors to the Okanagan will feel right at home this week, as Environment Canada forecasts another round of cloudy, wet weather for the region.

The first half of the week shows slightly higher than normal temperatures through Wednesday, Oct. 26, with plenty of opportunity to pull on your rainboots. Expect lots of clouds, with temperatures hovering around 13 Celsius to 14 C.

Overnight lows will stay well above freezing, so there’s no need to thaw those windshield wipers before putting them to work in the morning.

Take advantage of Thursday’s reemerging sunshine to splash in the remaining puddles — even you, adults — as things are looking brighter and drier for the end of the week. Friday calls for 11 C and sunny, a welcome way to head toward the weekend.
