Prince Charles Playground reopens

The City of Kamloops is pleased to announce the reopening of the new accessible playground at Prince Charles and newly enhanced wading pool on Saturday, June 29th just in time for the Canada Day long weekend.

Completed ahead of schedule, the new playground will be for children ages 2 to 12 and will have the newest accessible CSA equipment and a new impact surface for children of all abilities. The wading pool also has a new look also that will compliment the theme of the playground.

This project is valued at $250,000. The former play structure was disassembled and will be shipped to Nicaragua by volunteer fire fighters.

The City of Kamloops will be hosting a grand opening for the public later this summer.
