Police say no crime committed in death of Salmon Arm man

SALMON ARM - The death of a Salmon Arm man is not suspicious, according to Salmon Arm RCMP.

Police are continuing to assist the B.C. Coroners Service with the investigation which is still ongoing according to a press release by Cpl. Dan Moskaluk issued yesterday, July 21.

On Monday, July 17, police responded to a reported death at approximately 2:30 p.m. and found a 56-year-old man dead inside a Tappen residence.

The preliminary investigation and a forensic examination have found nothing suspicious at this time, Moskaluk said. He did not release the man's identity.

No further information is being released at this time.
