Police need help getting information about a West Kelowna crime

WEST KELOWNA - Crime Stoppers and the RCMP are reaching out for public assistance regarding an unsolved crime in the area.

In a release issued yesterday, July 27, by the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers, is requesting anyone with information pertaining to break and enter on the 2000 block of Taneda Road in West Kelowna on July 26 to come forward.

In the evening between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. suspects entered a home through a glass patio door. The house was searched and multiple items were stolen. The items taken include:

  • Sonos 1 portable speaker
  • 18 volt Ridgid cordless drill
  • Stihl MS261 Chainsaw
  • Red leather purse containing $150 in $5 bills and 3 debit cards
  • Table top telescope
  • MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) blue backpack
  • Random gift cards
  • Jewellery including 3 pairs of diamond stud earrings, gold chain necklaces, gold bracelets and a diamond tennis bracelet
