KELOWNA - Mounties took search warrants to multiple addresses in the early morning January 22, though they're not disclosing what they were looking for when they took several people into custody.
A used auto sales business on the 800 block of McCurdy Road was on their list, along with four residences in the city. The searches were virtually simultaneous and part of an ongoing criminal investigation. Several people were taken into custody and three were held for further investigation.
"No further details regarding the investigation or the results of the searches can be released at this time," RCMP Const. Kris Clark said.
No charges have been laid against the three detained Kelowna men ages 24, 26 and 30. The men were released on a promise to appear in court and will face possible criminal charges in June.
