Police confirm gunshots on 43 Avenue

VERNON - Vernon RCMP ramped up patrols in the 2900 block of 43 Avenue after a report of a gunshot being fired in the early morning hours Tuesday.

RCMP received the report at 12:40 a.m. and went out to investigate. After talking to people in the area, Mounties confirmed gunshots were the source of the noise. 

The investigation continues today and Vernon RCMP asks anyone with information, who may have heard a possible gunshot or who may have seen anything suspicious to call the detachment at 250-260-7161 or 250-308-7288.
