KELOWNA – A multimillion dollar home and orchard in East Kelowna will be auctioned off with no minimum and no reserve later this month.
The live auction of the 35-acre orchard, 5,900 square foot, five bedroom, five bathroom home complete with outdoor pool, workshop, sauna, tennis court and four-car garage will take place Sept. 22.
The home has already been on the market ten months at an asking price of $6.8 million.
“There are a new wave of homeowners seeking to fulfil their dreams of estate living in the Okanagan. This place looks, feels, and tastes like paradise. There is a lush landscape and an abundance of fresh food from the region, making it a true farm to table experience,” Alex Lambert, CEO of The Garage Sale Luxury Auction House says. “We are seeing a steady growth in the region, especially the technology sector. People and businesses are attracted to the laid back Okanagan lifestyle, climate, housing market and activities such as the relaxing lake life, enjoying nearby ski resorts and exploring world-class vineyards.”
According to the auction website, the orchard has over 8,200 well-grown mature cherry, apple and pear trees that are 12 to 40 years old.
