Looking for a forever home, Vernon SPCA pets of the week

Charlie

Charlie is a shy dog who came to the shelter because his owner did not have enough time for him.

Charlie is fearful but warms up to gentle handling; he is looking for a quiet home with calm, gentle handlers who can provide a calm, consistent routine.

His previous owners describe him as shy, fearful, cuddly and playful. He knows his basic commands such as sit, stay and come.

Charlie will need a home that can provide lots of desensitizing and socializing to people, places and things; he will require guardians who are home often as he tends to bark when left alone.

Charlie has a medical condition, he has 2 luxating patella's in both of his back legs that may require future veterinary care. If you are interested in this sweet boy please inquire with staff for further details.

Nala came in to the SPCA as a stray.

She was in very good shape and health when she got here and she settled in very nicely.

Nala is a very affectionate girl who loves lots of attention and companionship.

She has not been very excited to see other cats so would prefer a home where she can be the only feline.

If you are interested in meeting this lovely girl please inquire with staff.
