Bertha
Beautiful Bertha arrived at the Kamloops SPCA after she was found abandoned behind a 2nd hand store. In pretty rough shape when she got here she had puncture wounds to her side. Now on the mend Bertha is looking for her special furr-ever home. We have done some medical tests on Bertha and she does appear to be in the very early stages of kidney problems. She is now on a special diet and receives fluids daily via SubQ. Giving fluids is something that is easy enough to carry over into the home when working with your vet. Bertha is a very affectionate old gal that still has a little bit of kitten in her, she's very curious about the world around her. Bertha has won the hearts of shelter staff and volunteers. Senior and special needs animals are the most overlooked in shelters. Bertha still has a lot of love to give someone, this gentle soul could be just the cat for you.
