VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks have assigned centre Bo Horvat to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League on a conditioning assignment.
Horvat, 19, had one goal in five pre-season games with the Canucks. Last season he appeared in 54 games for the OHL London Knights collecting a career-high 74 points (30 goals, 44 assists) and 36 penalty minutes.
The six-foot-one, 216-pound centre was originally selected by Vancouver ninth overall in the 2013 NHL draft.
